(ma, dato che si riferisce a uno stato di cose e non a un'azione, si dice I wish it weren't so cold today, vorrei che non facesse così freddo oggi).La costruzione I wish I would non è possibile ( I wish I would work less), come pure la costruzione wish + would have + participio passato ( I wish I wouldn't have drunk so much).
